The Northampton Fire & Rescue, Inc. is always seeking new members for recruitment. Any person of age 18 years
and older and of good moral character can apply for membership. Any person that is between ages 13-17 may also become
a Junior member. Others wishing to help our organization, but not interested in EMS or FIRE, can also apply for
membership. Such members can assist in various fundraising activities, cleaning of apparatus, maintenance of the fire station,
and in the general organization and administration of the company. All applications will be reviewed by the Membership,
and voted on by the membership at our regular meeting.
Work does not go unrecognized. The department has an incentive program that recognizes
every hour of training, fundraising, maintenance, meetings, etc. Those hours translate into points which can be used to buy
station related items that the member wants but is not necessarily supplied by the department i.e. medical supplies
to carry in personal vehicles, accessories for turn-out gear like special flash lights, uniform related apparel.
